Got a simpler solution for you guys
1. Restart your Pc.
2. Unplug whatever the USB device is
3. Plug your USB device into Your pc just before it boots up.
Not saying this guys steps doesn't work I was just watching the video and was messing around with my keyboard and Restarted my pc then plugged it back in just before my pc loaded up and it's working fine.

Just wanted to ask, I hope you can help me sir. My USB speaker is not detected on my PC. I am running windows 7 ROG just recently installed. I have headphone which I do not have any issues. I wanted to switch from headphones to speaker, but my speakers are not even showing on the sound settings. Please help. Thank you.

I bought a new wireless mouse two days ago and have had the -USB not recognized- problem ever since. I did each of your steps and restarted the computer and one of them must have solved the problem. Mouse is working and no more error messages. Many thanks, friend!

I solved mine by choosing the AMD drivers from the directory, rather than let Windows manage it. The culprit is the USB3.1 XHC Controller. After the driver was installed, the annoying loop notification of the -USB not recognized- stopped.

Everytime I unplug the charger to my laptop it works, but everytime I plug it back in it suddenly breaks, what should I do? It's like it doesnt even recognize my mouse anymore, theres no unknown device in my device manager too

I have an External SSD 500GB (Chinese but with decent reviews) which only worked on some of my PCs USB Ports ( worked OK on phone/table) - turned out that using a better quality cable was all that was needed,

none of these fixes worked for my USB cooling pad but the cooling pad worked for another laptop even after it showed the error message on there. Anything else that may be amiss?

I hate windows so bad. There is really no need for me to go through all this crap. There should only be one place to fix the issue, not multiple .
