I think this all is very very bad advice, slowly directing someone to erase their harddrive without any big big disclaimer!
And I think you forget to mention the most obvious thing: Windows will allocate a pretty significant amount of your harddrive for paging memory, you will specially notice that when an extra drive is installed next to your default C drive, when that drive is completely empty it still can reserve many GB's (it probably will tell you that when you run checkdisk) . The more RAM is installed, probably the bigger that page file allocation is going to be.
By the way, the best advice to give someone that is suffering a full harddrive is: never ever erase your files just because you need some space, you will probably regret that later on! Don't waste your time, just get new drive and get a bigger one than you thought you'd needed to.

Thank you so much for this video!! My computer was acting up and all the available storage space was gone in minutes! I had no idea what was going on! It seemed as if someone had hacked my computer. I used the antivirus program that I have installed on my computer and scanned the C-drive and then clicked Re-gain space and Now I have more storage space in my laptop than before! Thank you so much, your video is so helpful!! ---

My issue was not covered in this video. I found that I had a backup of windows 7 on my storage drive. The file showed 0 bytes but when I deleted it, it suddenly showed 500GB being deleted. That was my issue. I found out that this is a backup created when upgrading to 10 in case it does not work out. Not sure why this is kept after so much time has passed.

On method 7 for some reason it won-t let me delete any partition, I right click on healthy (recovery partition) and it doesn-t even give me an option!
It seems that everytime I try to do something on a tutorial something goes wrong and I can-t complete the action as shown on the video. Please help

Why does technology suck so hard?
- I have no viruses, its all clean.
- recycle bin is empty
- desktop only has a few megabytes of files
- no programs besides essentials installed on C drive
- no big hidden files
- all temporary files deleted
- out of 222 GB I have 7... FCKIN SEVEN

I mean this is just basic pc maintenance along with obvious solutions and for people that clearly dont know much about pcs because done all these steps already, thought this video would have extra things to help solve the issue but it didnt thanks anyway

Bless you. Just build a new pc to replace my trash laptop. My laptop has 28gb of space after windows and was unable to even install installation media for windows. Had 4.3 gb of temp files.

one of disk has only 80 Gb of files but it shows i have used 140gb . I have tried all of your steps . Still not fixed . Help !!
