All of my other Google apps works fine but I can't sing in when using Google Chrome. When I press -add account- it goes to the -checking info- prompt and then gives the option to sign in , after that it says -this account already exist on your device- , what should I do ?

This information is not 100% correct. The fire tablet will not give you a choice. It will default to silk. Not saying you can't use chrome. You just have to use the chrome app to use chrome. you cannot just change your default browser not can you delete the silk browser.

not worth the effort at all windows 10 closes window you have connected to firetablet have to download a file reader then transfer files, rinse repeat hope you dont miss anything in the crap shoot transfer. just dont buy a firetablet. i mean a weekly electronic flyer

my Amazon Fire 8 HD 8th GENERATION takes Chrome as I followed your guide to installation of Google Play, but it will not correctly turn on Sync? It tells me my account already exists on the device and will not move forward? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 01/01/2020

You cannot install chrome on fireOS...it does not work. I have a fire tablet I purchased this year, it does not work even when set as the default browser. When you click the app it goes to chrome and then just clicks right out of it.

I followed directions and successfully added Google play store. But its now telling me Can't install Google Chrome: Fast & Secure. How do I successfully install Google Chrome Browser???

Is this still working as of this writing? Have most Android apps been working so far after installing Play Store? And have you tried Google Chromecast?
