Hi there. Thank you for the lesson. I did a form and got all the way to Restrict Editing. I checked the box to for editing restrictions (that worked), however, I cannot start enforcement #3 as it is gray and I cannot apply the restrictions. Usually when this happens, it means that you don't have the right version or something. The developer tool to place text boxes is different than your version. It is a little suitcase that you open and they are all in one place. Anyway, any help you can give would be appreciated. I was looking forward to having this fillable forms for our non for profit.

I have completed and protected my document. When I share via the copied link or Microsoft it does not allow the recipient to fill in the information. It's a basic read-only document. Can you provide insight as to what needs to be done so that I can share and have recipients fill out the required information? Thank you in advance.

A highly useful tutorial! BTW, fillable text forms are a great tool for preparing open questions in reading comprehension activities. Students fill in their answers in a password-protected WORD document, save the file under their names and email it back to the teacher or lecturer or post on MOODLE assignments.

Can you add a Rich/Plain content control field into a text box? I've tried to add one but when I turn on restricted mode the content control fiields are un-editable. If I place them inside a table or just inside the word document they work but not inside a text box.

I am trying to add drop down lists in the document but we DO NOT WANT editing restrictions, due to needing to place in signatures from a topaz signature pad. How can I put in a usable form WITHOUT edition protection?

Hi Kevin, thanks for this video.. But in the combo box content control , under properties how can we have lines of text inserted .could u pls tell.. Make such videos ..Very helpful for me

My plain text control button is in grey and will not let me select it. I have gone into Developer and made sure that button is selected. Are you able to assist.
