How do I buy those cookies? No seriously, this is not a good tutorial but a GREAT one. I am transferring from Corel Video Studio Ultimate after using it from when it was called Ulead Video Studio but the program has just degraded year after year by removing third party apps like Boris FX and it is buggy as all hell continually crashing and loosing work. My research has shown that Da Vinci is the best and it's free and if you want more a one time paid version.
Again many thanks for making the video as it was not only very informative to me a newbie but entertaining at the same time. A BIG thumbs up. Cheers.

Does davinci resolve work on laptop's ? I was told it fails at rendering. Because of heat and rendering i was told need a tower to run and render davinci resolve 17.4 and highly advised NOT use davinci resolve 17.4 on desktop as it will ruin and shorten life of laptop if running davinci resolve17.4 due to the heat and expelling of heat and the running of the processor mainly during the rendering process. Has anyone had any experiences and / or recommendations with davinci resolve 17.4 and rendering their projects on laptop's ?

Its obvious you know the program well. Kudos for sharing your knowledge. However, as a tutorial, its running too fast, and its hard to keep up with what's going on. Also, about 7 minutes in, you start talking about, -in-point,- and, -out-point,- without explaining what they are. It leaves the viewer guessing and wondering. I didn't go much beyond that. Please take this as constructive criticism, and I hope you put more tutorials, taking that to heart.

Hi Kevin. Thanks for the great tutorial. I followed every step and tried to render the video. But it finished in less than a second and the output is only a file with fast looping stuttering sound. No video? What could be wrong?

Kevin,
When selecting all my final settings for my video to be able to save it, the ADD TO RENDER QUEUE is not been able to click on, after selecting all same settings as you, please help thanks.

good job, Kevin! I learned a lot in this tutorial, and now I am confident that I can use DaVinci for simple stuff and develop my skills towards getting to know more advanced tools ! :)

Hey can someone cover how to cover an object that a person passes by a few times? The person always goes under the cover up instead of over. I will never buy this junk!!!!!

First, I couldn't imagine the people that figure this out on their own
Secondly, I can't imagine the people that engineered DaVinci. I mean this is insane
