Hi Kevin,
I have to do a repeatitive multi step task for my work. I want to create a document ( Word doc) with variable fields..
IS this possible?
1. Microsoft Forms ( Capture variable values to list )
ie. Course title, Project Owner name, Duration of the course.
2. Automatically creates a list.
3. from there fill out following form...
Step 1. Create Item
Step 2. Input title to -Title-
Step 3. Contac information is -Project Owner Name-
Step 4. in the Duration Box input -Duration-
Step 5. In the Description Box. write following
- -Title- brought you by -project Owner name -
You would need to spend -Duration -
I think I'm comfortable with Capturing data and making a list.... but I don't know how to turn list to user friendly data form... We do a lot of work with Tabled data... and It's really not read friendly..
Any guidance or pointer to right direction would be appreciated!!

Hi!
I have a question... So, flows created using PAD can be used to work entirely on cloud right? Like I don't actually need to keep my PC turned on..
For ex- I have an excel file in sharepoint site. What I want to do is open in excel online, click on refresh and close it. Since, I will be using excel online only and desktop excel app is not required. So, without keeping my PC on, it should work on the cloud right?
This web automation is not available in Power Automate web version, hence I need to look into this option..
Thanks!

Thank you so much for this! One thing I am really struggling with : One a web page loop, I extract data from various places , however rather than next page button or click area, the site I am extracting from has range buttons instead. Such as page 102, 103, 98,97 etc. So regardless of how creative I get, whether I record to create UI element or add as pager etc. It seems to always Recognize each as a different chicken unique span or UI element et cetera. Any creative thoughts on thoughts on how to combat?

so it closed and re-opened microsoft every time? is there a way to close the file and open the next file with terminating the app? i am trying to create a flow that individually and sequentially (in a loop) opens thousands of files in an existing folder, exports the data to an excel file in a destination folder, then opens next file, exports, saves, and so on. im worried about the strain on the system opening and closing the (somewhat bloated) app thousands of times. any tips/advice?

Hi Kevin. Would you be able to walk through doing a PAD flow that uses an Excel table to send emails based on row data with unique attachments? I have been able to send emails based on the data using loop indexes. I've tried using variables, path to folder, and the path to folder with a variable from the table that has the name of the file that needs to be attached. None have worked. Thanks.

Helpful video, thanks. I was familiar with Power Automate but not desktop. I have to say the multiple monitor problem is a pretty big deal. A huge percentage of users these days have more than one monitor. I have been using two (or more) for more years than I can even recall. Maybe since the 90s?

I have a basic If image and click flow. After it executes it, it ends. I just want it to keep looking for the -if image- statement in the background and trigger the actions I set. I want it to constantly repeat it and look for the next time his image occurs in the screen. How do I do this? Thanks.

Thank you, are you able to enter data in specific fields on a web form and maybe numbers (by increasing the order of the numbers)? In a sense, it would be a web form filler but with a numerical increase by a few digits. Basically, looking for a macro to submit equity orders on the web.

Thanks Kevin for keeping this video. As a beginner, this info is very useful for me. But the video was running very fast with so much info. If you can cut down the speed and make the info simple for the viewers, then lot of people like me follow better.

I'm confused right off the bat... why would anyone agree to migrate data from one legacy system to another legacy system. Surely a better case study would be to show how to migrate data from a legacy system to a currently relevant system.
