How to Create Fillable PDF Form for FREE - Kevin Stratvert learn how to create a fillable PDF form for free using LibreOffice (previously known as OpenOffice). LibreOffice is free and open source software that allows you to create forms and export as a PDF form. When you distribute your form, others can fill out your form easily. Once they complete your form, they can print or save their responses in PDF format. You can create a form using things like check boxes, option buttons, text boxes, and drop-down lists. - Additional resources: - PDF Form example: https://1drv.ms/b/s!AmxrofZZlZ-whK4oMZbw2RNEH0Ez7A?e=OT26nn - Example form created in LibreOffice: https://1drv.ms/w/s!AmxrofZZlZ-whK4nIKRlm5Rehl9a4Q?e=2fXWiX - Download LibreOffice: https://www.libreoffice.org/

Great video. Thank you. When I went to insert a list box, the only database that was available said -bibliography-, and I sort of got lost. I was just trying to add in a choice of times. I found how to attempt to make a new database, but got stonewalled because I had to install something else, and all of a sudden I was out of my paygrade. Any ideas on this?

Hello Kevin! First of all thank you for this video, really helpful!! I wanted to ask about the available fonts on Libre office : how many are available? I have difficulties finding a program that I can use to edit a digitally fillable with more fonts than 4 that are available on pdf escape

Hi Kevin. I noticed that my comment from yesterday regarding OpenOffice and LibreOffice being two different applications doesn't appear to be there anymore. Was I incorrect in that statement or is there another reason my comment isn't showing up here?

THANK YOUU! I run a sorority and with the pandemic, turning in PDF forms strictly online for the other girls who may not have the same resources to edit things online on their devices has been HECTIC!!! This is truly truly what I needed!

Thank you for the very helpful video. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Is there an option in this program (or any others) for an if-then statement? I.e. -tab- for multiple/additional entries and -enter- when completed?

Kevin, you are a fantastic teacher! I teach online courses on Coursera, and I think you may be better than me. Oh, my gosh, did I say that? Thanks for putting these fantastic explanations out here for us.

This is great, but what about having the sheet do calculations? Most of the PDF forms I make have calculation capabilities, adding forms, multiplying forms, etc... Can you do that with this?

Hi. I selected the Number field, Date Field, Currency Field and changed the format as I need but when I export it to pdf it doesn't work right. It works like free form. How can I fix it?
