Hey DT!, I just installed QTIle and I am having a lot of fun configuring it. But I had a question, I have KDE Plasma installed on my system as well and I really love the suite of applications of KDE Plasma because they are very feature rich. But those applications are qt based ,so when I run them in QTile they look very foreign to my system. How can I configure Qt apps in QTile?

Hey DT! Not sure if you're aware, but the directory /etc/skel exists, and when any new user is created on the system, every file in that directory is copied to the user's home directory. It might be beneficial to move the things in /etc/dtos to /etc/skel for this automation.

Xmonad is one of the best tiling wm after dwm in my opinion. Now i know i know dwm requires alot of tinckering and patching but that is what makes it fun and it is super fast wm i use it alot along side my bspwm. Bspwm is also cool and i like the math behinde it.

Is there a way to get Xmonad to pull colors from Xresource? It may be a lot simpler to script updating that and have all the other programs pull from there. I know dwm and dmenu have a patch and when I run pywal my system changes instantly.

Hey DT, I'm trying to setup Xmonad, I came accross your playlist about it, but the videos seem to be in random order.
Although, I saw the Getting started with Xmonad video. But what's the flow after that ?

Just checking but the colours won't work in xmobar, you have to make individual xmobarrc for each colour scheme and then have xmonad change xmobarrc based the on selected colour scheme?

Dmenu does take paramaters/flags for colours without recompiling.
dmenu -nb normal background -nf normal foreground -sb selected background -sf selected foreground

What emacs extension are you using to highlight the #XXXXXX with their corresponding colours? I had a plugin to do that in vim, but never found the alternative.

- The disk partition step made me stop to research minim space requirements. So still a long way before I look at doing these other fun things.
