In this Microsoft Excel 2016 tutorial, I will explain how you can use Custom Lists to shorten the time when you need to type a list having repetitive names. But Custom Lists has a limit of just repeating the names available in the list in down order alone.
In some cases, you might need a Drop Down List of your Custom List from where you may select a particular name. So to accomplish this, we took the help of Defining Names to Cells / Columns and then used those Names in Data Validation to define a Drop Down List with available data from defined Names as a source to the list.
