Enable Blocked Attachments in Microsoft Outlook - OnlineComputerTips By default Microsoft Outlook will block file attachments it thinks may harm your computer. You may see a message in your email that says Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments. Many times you will need to save these attachments regardless of any potential danger or if they are from someone you trust. There is a quick registry edit you can do to allow any kind of attachment you like to not be blocked by Outlook. http://www.onlinecomputertips.com/support-categories/microsoft-office/420-allowing-blocked-outlook-attachments

I dont understand why through whole network they all tell you about registry but not junk mail settings. Apparently if you receive your mail with attachment blocked, some occured due to sender being blacklist. Just have to set them as safe recipient and it is resolve, and it worked for me.

It seems that Microsoft closed this loop hole. I have 15 years of python development and a cubic TON of email attachments that I cannot get to any more. If someone is able to figure out a way again I'd be eternally greatful!

When I get a -.dotx- attachment I don't get the warning this file is blocked but when I save the file it is blocked because it originated from another computer. Do you know how to avoid this kind of blockage?

How about if there is 2nd and 3rd extension to unblock? Do we just comma? i.e .jpg, .pdf. Or create same key with different value?
