Hi Mynda, HELP! I've built a dashboard using power query and power pivot just like this vide. It's been working great BUT I would like to remove all old 2021 data and create a new dashboard for 2022 due to the amount of data. I tried just deleting Jan-Sept data and using Oct only by removing all csv files from the data dump folder. Everything looks good except the pivot tables and slicers are not updating to only Oct.

First of all, thank you for the video.
I have a question, please.
let's say I already made Data Model to create connection with monthly files, but If I want to make changes to those files (e.g. I suddenly decided to add 2 columns to those monthly data files). does it refresh the dashboard automatically or should I remake the Data Model and dashboard from the scratch again?

Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial, I do love creating dashboards
I have a question, at 29:58 you wrote the equal sign (=) to get the hourly percentage while for the count of total employees you used the plus sign (+) what is the difference between using the plus and equal signs to get a value from another cell?
Thank you again for this great video

Excellent dashboard - I am wondering if the turnover % formula has been applied correctly. I think the correct formula to obtain the Turnover percentage should be the sum of the beginning of the period plus the end of the period, divide by two to obtain the Avg Headcount for the period and then divide the separations by the Avg Headcount obtained above.

Wow... absolutely amazing. I picked up so many things from this video and was able to apply these concepts to produce a similar dashboard for our HR data. It was very well received, thank you so much. Just one small thing I couldn't figure out - How did your text in the headlines automatically format to match the colour of your icon?

Hi Mynda , really great tutorial as I was able to build an HR dashboard for my company. The slicers work like magic. However I am facing challenge with the grouping by Age as my excel report only has age column with age of the employee mentioned. Is there a way using power query to group the age data into Age groups. Thanks Ankur

Hello,
Thank you for your very useful videos. If we create all your dashboards in one file, can we consider it as ERP for a small organization? I aimed to build ERP through Excel.
I have no idea what ERP looks like?
I was not able to find any useful materials like yours regarding ERP.
Thank you for your answer

Hi! Great tutorial. I have an issue with separations as I am double counting them. The terminated employees are keep appearing in my csv files post their termination. So my total terminations are 22 and i get a total of 539 as these are added up in each month and quarter. I guess a new measure is needed but not sure what.

Hi, I have a problem with the -Hired Date- data. The -Hired Date- is in general type, not date. I tried to change the type in power query but it became error. I was thinking about editing the original csv file but it would be waste of energy. Is there any other way to fix this?

It is quite refreshing to find someone on the Internet who is so organized in their presentations and loves what they do. Your videos are informative, well presented, and meaningful to anyone who wants to know more about excel. DZ, North Carolina, USA.
