IPVanish FULL Complete Review! Are They Legit? - Techlore IPVanish is a well known VPN service on the market! But is it the best VPN? Let's find out in this full, video review of the service. How does it actually stack up against other services? In this IPVanish video review, I, Techlore, test IPVanish's speed, security, reliability, settings, customization, and usability as a whole. This is a complete, unbiased, honest, full review, guide, and setup of the VPN. ATTENTION: There is reason to believe that IPVanish logs user traffic and sends this data to the feds. Here is a link below for more information. I will be sure to mention this in the 1 year update on the service: IPVanish Review Update! : IPVanish Website: IPVanish is one of very many VPN companies out there claiming to be the best. I test out its security and setup with multiple DNS tests, an IP Address test, log policy, and encryption. I test its speed using several speed test and torrenting (downloading) a file and then I test the usability and stability of the VPN on Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. IPVanish has a desktop program, bypassing China and their firewall in addition to any possible gaming restrictions. Torrenting is also discussed as well. Use VPNs to bypass wifi or government restrictions to access websites like Youtube, Reddit, and Neftlix

For anyone dealing with dns leaks, do this as an alternative but turn off your ipvanish first:
-1. go to network and sharing > change adapter settings > click on ipv4 > properties-
-2. Switch your dns settings from auto to static > put in any random dns address you want, can be just be a single in the first dotted line-
-3. click ok and leave your -change adapter settings- window open if you want to change your dns to auto later-
-4. Turn on ipvanish and THEN THERE SHOULD BE NO DNS LEAK-
This method technically turns off your isp's dns server and allows you to use your vpn's dns server with no dns leaks for full anonymity
And for those people dealing with websites that are showing the wrong vpn location, that is typically the site's problem not ipvanish's

IPVanish logs everything, here is what they gave to the feds on June 21, 2016: connection sites, connection timestamps, disconnection timestamps, Real IP adress, full name, email, username, EOB date. Look up USA vs Vincent Gevirtz Paged 23-25.
in terms of security/privacy they aren't any better than hidemyass or any of the trash providers. claim no logs but then are proven false. same thing happened to purevpn.

Well I have IPVanish and I got to say, it makes my PC run like dial up on downers. When I click from one web site to the next, I usually have to sit and wait upwards of 1 minute and more. I give it a 1 out of 5. I am running a fairly fast and powerful PC. The only downside of what I have is my connection. I have AT&T. However, when I stop the vpn, no lag whatsoever.

Hi, i am currently using NordVPN, i only use the VPN for surfing so i can create accounts anonymously, i dont need it for downloading stuff or something, my problem with NordVPN is it takes around 15 seconds to load every site. Is that normal with a VPN or are there better VPN options to surf the web? I only use VPN which are 100% no log and not in EU/USA.

Personally, I tried Nord, express vpn, cyberghost and avast secureline. I found IPvanish to provide the most stable connections and best speeds. avast secureline was just as fast but supports just one device at a time and is too expensive. I might just have been unlucky but Nord and express vpn didn't do it for me.

Is IP Vanish in the fourteen eyes? Nord is not. But Nord won-t install on Fire TV Stick. What to do? If I install Nord on my gateway and change my DNS Server will all traffic from all devices default to my VPN? I have a Comcast Gateway.

+TechloreTutorials -Techlore can you compare all other popular VPNS you mentioned with Astrill
guess what, i live in China, strict firewall, so far i was only able to use Astrill successfully
so can you test all with Astrill
thanks

The new update literally doubled my download/upload speeds. My ping has been halfed and its the only VPN that I can claim that actually does reduce latency! Although I want to give PureVPN a shot.
