KeePass Cloud Configuration Tutorial (Free Cloud-Based Password Manager) - Techlore Video tutorial/review showing how to manage and setup your passwords using a password manager free, unlimited storage on all devices! This will be done using KeePass and we will use a cloud service to sync your password database to all of your devices, from your PC, to your Mac, to an iPhone, or Android device. You can use Dropbox, One Drive, or Google Drive and it will sync to nearly any operating system, such as Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, iOS, or Android. You can use Keepass to save passwords in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox by syncing to cloud services. KeePass Download: KeePass All Devices: Keepass2Android: KeePass Touch

Which version do I get if I want to sync over windows, Ubuntu and iPhone? If I download the mono version for Ubuntu and the exe version for windows do they still sync the same? Does the iOS version give me the option of NOT using -touch- I want the option of password only? Or are some of the other iPhone compatible -contributed/unofficial keepass ports- listed on the site more up to date since the video?
Also can I change my existing (potentially weak passwords) slowly or does keepass force them all to change at once or something?
Never used a password manager before so I-m a bit daunted considering the number of devices I have
Thanks for any help

If keepass syncs via the net/Dropbox, are the passwords etc encrypted during movement between devices? I-ve heard Dropbox security isn-t too strong, and if their a corporation could they be backdoored? Thanks
reply

I have my database saved inside my local storage and my OneDrive but when I open it from my local storage and make edits it doesn't sync to my OneDrive so my phone doesn't get updated

-techlore since going completely away from Google and their services, (before I install KeepPass2Android) what do you recommend for cloud storage, besides Google drive?
reply

Say I live in a restrictive government and they seize my computer. Can't they just open my username and the password manager will have access to everything for them?
reply

Nice introduction to Keepass.
How about a though indepth break-down of all those data storage file types offered with this handy password vault.

What should I do if I want to ditch Google but use this password manager? I'm using your Stay Anonymous on the Internet tutorial!
reply

Don't forget to Synchronise your database when opened and after making changes to reload the file with the recent updates.
