I have Nord VPN. I can only give you my opinion based on my own personal experience with it and I am not impressed with it. It seriously slows down your connection speeds.
Speeds Without Nord VPN. Ping 43, Download 269. 31, Upload 11. 88.
Speeds with Nord CONNECTED Ping 42, Download 60. 45, Upload 2. 00.
I have found on many occasions, When I am trying to connect to several websites. I have experienced, it slows you down to the point where I had to turn it off to complete the connection. I am not hating people, it is what it is. If you want to watch NETFLIX you have to turn it off. Also do not configure Nord VPN to automatically connect on start up. I had a power outage and it shut down my computer. I Had Nord VPN configured to automatically connect on start up. When the power came back on Nord VPN could not startup and consequentially I could not connect to the internet because Nord VPN was Blocking my connection. I contacted Apple Support and after hours of diagnostic troubleshooting. We concluded Nord VPN was preventing the connection to the Internet.
I screwed up and got caught up in the Hype. Just like the one you are watching. I entered into a two year contract to save some money. I believe its 2 years for $79. 00. However I strongly suggest you test drive it before you commit yourself. It has a lot of great features and the price is reasonable. However, it really slows down your connection speeds. Try Express VPN then try Nord VPN. thats what I should have done. My personal conclusion is, make sure you try outNord VPN before you buy. Try other VPNs Like Express VPN. I have heard good things about it. Again my knowledge of Express VPN is solely based on second hand information. like I said, I bought Nord VPN. Then make an educated decision based on your own personal experience. if you find a better VPN. please let me know. I will take the $79. 00 hit and chalk it up to cognitive development. Sorry Nord it is what it is. You seriously need to work on your connection speeds. I have it on my Ipad, Iphone, Imac, and My Nvidia shield. they all experience the same damn problem. With my Nvidia shield, I don't even turn it on. Because the sites recognize the VPN and require you shut it down to access their content. As a result, I forget to turn it back on and if I were to turn it back on, at some point again. I will be required to turn it off.
I have heard and I am not sure if its true. You do not experience this problem with Express VPN. With Nord VPNs product, it is -Buyer Beware-.

I downloaded, installed & successfully logged into my paid NordVPN account on FireTV. The app itself showed my new IP address, then I double checked on whatismyip. com in Silk Browser and it showed my new IP address as well. But when I check my IP address in system settings within Kodi, it shows my original unmasked IP address. This concerns me. How do I know for sure that when I'm successfully logged in to nordvpn on my firetv that it's masking my IP address during Kodi streaming? I tried for an eternity to install and use OpenVPN within Kodi with no success.

The recent update changed everything. They were always slow but at least I could count on choosing an IP location that was favorable. Now they took that away, and try to connect you to whatever? And I'm not connected. so it doesn't work at all.
I figure this out when it's time to use the service? No email advising of an update or anything. These guys SUCK!
It's just like Microsoft. It's on me to spend hours figuring out how to deal with their shitty service.

Hi, I'm new to vpn's and I've just purchased Nordvpn after doing some research and listening to you. The question I have is; There are many different servers in many countries available to me on Nordvpn, but as I live in the UK, why would I change the location from UK to anywhere else? what would be the benefits, I really don't see why there are so many. Can you tell me why?

I don't know who else is really using this but I have 200mbps speed, downloading with over 20mb/s without tgis, and with this I am downloading with maximum 2mb/s. I got disconnected at least 7 times in 3 hours and even I had to restart my torrents from zero because of this. I use the closest server and recommended settings. For me, is a GARBAGE! I'll cancel is straight away!

Your vids were very helpful in helping make a decision re a VPN, even though I did not understand half of the words you tossed out. Security is most important to me. I did not hear anything negative regarding compatibility with IOS, so I assume it will work well on the iPad.

NordVPn is crap for a tvbox which is why you would need it anyway. I went from 140 mbs to 25. there customer support tried to let me use there server with same results and hours of time wasted with try this and try that. finally they blamed my box. stay away

Nord Aks me if I'm in a restricted country. What does that mean? I don't know how to answer it? Can u explain what they mean on a video? Maybe make a quick tutorial video on nord and the fee settings they have. Thanks man
