Apple & MacOS Big Sur Spy on Every App? - Surveillance Report 25 - Techlore Checkout SimpleLogin: Zoom Security/Privacy Video: SimpleLogin Review Video: 0 David: The guy that wrote this article on MacOS, I emailed him about this. He told me to watch the packets being sent with Wireshark or another packet manager on this issue.
Then aging the company they are talking about has a CDN service but also has other services within the company. Ever major operating system reports back to this network to help with operating system updates and other issue with the operating system. Android, Chrome OS, Microsoft Windows, macOS Big Sur and Catalina all reports back to this company with what ever info they are collecting. While looking at my Network traffic the information reported back to this company was less then 592Kb on my MacBook, 2. 5Mb on my Windows computer and about the same on my Mac mini. So, I can't believe this article all that much. I think more data is being sent back to Apple about this information, but with most of Apple main applications all linked to iCloud they have to report back to Apple.
This guy never sent me any information about this article after I asked him to prove his work. This also doesn't send you core locations to Apple it just does a Geo Location lookup based off the IP address you are on.
As for the Federal program there are miss concepts on that program. The government in the USA still has to get a warrant to get this information, the only difference with this program compared to a normal warrant they don't have to inform the person they have the warrant.

The third point has a lot to do with the other 2 points because it's connected. Even though Apple admits and publicly doesn't deny they're part of the PRISM program, a lot of people don't know that. The point is IF they are guilty on points 1 and 2 then using point 3 your data can end up in the government way more easily.
Also really for me the BIGGEST issue in this, if it's true, even if you try to defend them by saying that 'everyone is doing it' or it's for 'security purpose and malware checks', it's ridiculously retarded to say the least that it goes past vpns and little snitch, that's just too much.

Personal data in the US is generally treated carelessly. For example, your social security number is supposed to be heavily guarded by you, but look at how many things require it (e. g. potential employers, credit, schools, etc. Rather than having everything separated and compartmentalized with their own unique number we're stuck having to tie everything to one number while hoping each time we give it out that it gets stolen.

The Zoom coverage really makes me question what deal the FTC has behind closed doors. Zoom has been proven to lie for 4 years and they are dealt harsh words by the agency we pay to protect us. Smells like money under the table. If someone used what they were promised was encrypted communication and their trade secrets were stolen, compensation would be more than justified. This is no small matter.

So. I shouldn't worry about this news about macOS Big Sur? I just bought my first MacBook a few months ago for university and because I didn't wanna use Windows anymore because of their heavy data collection.
I first found out about this after watching Louis Rossmann's video and he seems to be really worried.

I just have a problem using any service such as Simple Login or Anonaddy because they could potentially see your emails and other data. Maybe for sites that I do about care so much about. I know they say they would never read your data, but. I would rather pay extra to Tutanota for additional aliases.

I did some work as a PA for a politician in the UK, and got involved in an election campaign, and was amazed how much access we had to people's data and voting action. I'm not sure how bad it is compared to the States, but I thought it was pretty inapproriate.

Hey Techlore, would it be possible to get a review of Mega? I-d really love to know your opinion on this service! I know you-ve briefly mentioned it in other videos but I-d love a thorough analysis!

I have a recommendation. Use bouncer for your permission. For non android 10 users, there is a permission app called bouncer which will help you in controlling the permission of your apps
