NordVPN & IPVanish LOG? RESPONSE VIDEO! - Techlore ATTENTION: I have FULLY addressed these concerns in their own updated video: Does NordVPN and IPVanish log and sell their user's data? That's what one YouTuber has claimed. How valid is this? Should you be concerned? Find out here on Techlore in this less than interesting response video (debunk) of these wild claims. The market cannot solve this problem because #1 There is a financial incentive to sell information to other corporations or to corrupt fascists and spooks in our own and other governments with taxpayer dollars and #2 the electronic medium is ideal to covertly effect #1 through proprietary codes and technologically obfuscated hardware. Only stronger laws with criminal penalities, regulations, and standardization of open-source code and hardware can solve this. We need a publicly elected body and publicly hired technocrats with a mandate to protect the public to be able to implement such laws and regulations to have any hope of preventing furher abuses and preventing the rise of inverted corporate totalitarianism and fascism.

I think that NordVPN does sell your information. Since using them I-ve been receiving calls, texts and emails from whatever country I used on their app for that day. I used the UK and got a supposed 4 million pound win from Coca-Cola, and when using Romania I got several phone calls from that country from MoneyGram Romania. Whoever is calling me knows exactly what country I-m using that day on the VPN through Nord-s app. The emails were on a very private address that has now been inundated by spam from the countries I-ve connected to on NordVPN. I-m located in Australia and the counties that have called me have rerouted through a local number but actually dialled a number in Romania or the UK.

I've got a great idea for totally private communications. I hate to say it publicly like this for fear it may get stolen, but I'm going to anyway. What if we started a business where you wrote something on a peace of paper and took it to a place that would deliver it to the person you were reaching out to. You could charge for each paper you sent, you know, kinda like Uber but for paper. - You could even send cookies to them. -

I can guarantee the IPVanish shares information with the film and TV industries. I used IPVanish and downloaded a couple of TV shows. The VERY NEXT DAY I received text messages from my ISP to say cease and desist, identifying the exact files, by name, that I D/Led. IPVanish also does not support IPV6 and says on their blog that your IP can be leaked if you have and use IPV6. Look it up!

Cookies, though. cookies and other browser traits stored or set while off VPN can still be used to identify that browser with the VPN connected. Same for vice versa (set while on VPN, check and match when VPN disconnects. This is short and simplified, but they are hazardous for identification.

Very long and dragged out. but hopefully the info is there - Leave feedback for the next response video!
Oh I forgot to mention. Mitch says that Nord is able to store 3rd party cookies, meaning they can use ANY cookies from any website. Just go watch the video. Lots of wrong info -

As long as you receive money from a company or any other -sweetener- You trade your objectivity for benefits. Your opinions are skewed. You think that you are objective but cannot be any longer.
Look for blind study, double blind study.

When I tried to download IPVansish, I got message that the file was infected with a Trojan Horse, so I had to terminate it - anyone else have this problem and what's up with that?
reply

IPvanish is actually owned by the FCC, and tracks your actual IP address, and turns it over for infringement violations. For real. just kidding. It's how rumors get started. FAKE NEWS!
