While I love the idea of FOSS and want the movement to grow, it somewhat worries me. See, I aspire to go into computer science as a future career, and I know for a fact that I wouldn-t want to do 6 years of school just to settle for the scraps users donate to said software. I guess what I-m trying to ask is, how is this movement sustainable for software engineers? I-ve even heard some people go so far as to call it communist in nature. Would you agree with that?

our directory is a great place to discover open source software. You can also host instance of every software or just playing games, store files and pictures or also create a collaboration account to share data with your team securely. discover more www. whctech. com

Is there a way of making the code of a software publicly viewable but not available for edits? Is that a bad idea?
How do you avoid software being changed into something that it wasn't originally intended for in s FOSS system?

I've been using Linux a lot more because I don't trust Microsoft, but the FOSS offered on Linux distro is pretty good. and secure. -
