-Parents: Don't give your children a device or operating system that allocates an -Advertising ID- to your child. Make sure their schools do the same and they are not required to use accounts that require real names and information. Read the end licence agreements for software your children use both at home and schools. Only if YOU agree to the terms can they or the school proceed. Remember these ID's feed back into what your child sees on a device. Studies show digital manipulation of children ( for corporate gain ) has a negative effect of mental well being. Prolonged data collection can also negatively effect their future adult life. Please be responsible. - ( Words from a child mental health worker )

Watching this reminds me of why I try not to use windows anymore. So much bloatware! I can't count the number of times I've gone through the registry over my 15+ years in IT, now I just do apt-get autoremove --purge and done: D I used to recommend ccleaner before they had privacy issues, now a good alternative is bleachbit. Makes removal of those leftover files very easy.

Just got a PocoPhone F1 and since Xiaomi is marketing it as a dev phone it still has warranty with an unlocked bootloader.
They even send phones to XDA devs and put the kernel source on github.
Also finally a phone that worth the same in euro's as dollars 270 euro - 300 dollar (were other phones would be 360 euro for 300 dollar)

Hi I-ve got a question, how do I replace Find my iPhone function on my Mac and iPhone? I have downloaded the pdf file provided at your website and am trying to switch away from Apples software such as notes, reminders etc. And if I disable find my iPhone should I also disable find my friends?

I usually do this unconsciously because of my minimalist behaviour, Like not filing up my storage i clear my cache of most of my appd everyday, it makes me feel just a bit safer, Even if its just deleting screenshots or putting unused apps away

You need to clarify the printer part. As a copier tech the drivers are important. Windows driver for printers are garbage and manufacture drivers communicate much better with their products.

Interesting, I think I'm already doing that part though. Because, I'm already trying to make as small amounts and other things as possible.

What about the Prey Project? There's nothing about security on their website whatsoever and they collect tons of data to the dashboard.
