I bought a 3-year subscription from Nord VPN, back in 2018, by 2019 I went 5 months without service. Mind you that I live in China and use VPNs daily. During this time, I had to rely on free vpns, and other stand-alone proxies which work 99% of the time. Long story short, every time I contacted customer service, I was given the same answer for 5 months straight, which was -NO REFUNDS AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD- and that their technicians were working on resolving the issue. In the end, they got the service back and running with a few glitches here and there, but no refunds nor credits.

what companies often claim, and what the truth is two different things.
i am not a computer expert, but I know being exec from a fortune
500 company unless your on the inside looking out, you don't
know how safe or reliable a service is unless you're privileged to
insider information, I would suggest if your downloading copyright
material I would think twice before relying on your VPN service

IPVanishVPN does not use a kill switch. If you off you just off until you sign back in. it will sign off while you using your computer and when look up IPVanishVPN will not be running. Just keep calling them. Please don-t turn your computer on and walk into the other room. You come you-ll have know vpn running. No matter how you set it automatically run it will not run all the time. I-m signing up with someone else.

Yea man Nord is pretty sketchy
For example, you know those YT vids that are obviously a scam? The ones that say things like -claim free money easily- well if you-ve watched them it-s like -oh your seconds away from getting money we just need you to verify just by downloading these apps and we-ll nord vpn is on there.

I need an opinion on an issue. I use and have been using ipvanish with iptv and work fine. I got a New iptv service that doesnt load when vpn is on but only off. All the other iptv's work with active vpn. Worried about isp blocking if i use without vpn as the service provider advise. What's your opinion

Surfshark has a bug in their kill switch, when switching servers with kill switch enabled it leaks your true IP address just as the VPN disconnects and attempts to connect again. I tested it by running a DNS leak test and switching servers while the test is running.

Well this confirms what I thought. I had 2 protonmail accounts and they logged me out so I tried to open a new account and I was told my phone number had already been used. What? I thought they couldn't see my stuff.

Another potential reason for the ProtonMail/VPN is that under Swiss law ProtonMail can be made to (and will) start collecting logs whereas there is no president or law to make a VPN start collecting logs.
