My family and I have on ours Macs have been seeing Ads lately that say you need to update flash. If you click anywhere near the ad it downloads a dmg in the background and tries to pop up a bigger ad telling you how to install the -flash player-. The bad part about it is we all have anti malware on our Macs and none of them detect it as malware. To make it worst one time I did let it download just to drag the dmg to Virus Total and only like 6 companies detected as malware. So I downloaded adblock and Malware Bytes on all of them. I think a big part of the problem is both users and antivirus companies don't really look into Mac malware as it wasn't very prevalent other then maybe one or two times until now. Oh one of the Computers I guess had two PUPs on them so yeah its out there nowadays.

NO! Macs get more -Malware- than Windows. A Virus is a specific type of Malware that can spread itself from machine to machine without any help from the user itself. Something that has not been registered on macOS/Mac OS X since 2000. So if you don't trust yourself, you'll be better served with a proper Malware scanner than you will with a Antivirus software, and now where you even yourself used Malwarebytes as source to your false assertion; ) then I can also only recommend Malwarebytes as your best option for a proper -malware- scanner.

I like these videos! Recaps of news stories concerning privacy and security is a much needed niche that needs filling.
I do have to say one thing, though. I think the background music (though I'm kinda unsure if there is any at some points) on both surveillance report videos could be a bit louder. Maybe like to the levels TLE has in his recap videos.

I'm loving this series, also since this happened with avast( my main AV) any antivirus you could recommend? Preferably one that includes firewall(and maybe data shredder. Since this happened with avast, I'm not sure to what AV to move to, and leaving windows isn't a option ATM
