imo, use software that is best for your needs. sometimes, one is better than the other (even when considering from a privacy standpoint. there will be compromises anyway, not a perfect world.

How do you feel about Authy? I remember I used to use Google Auth until I had to reset my phone and found out oh crap now I can-t log into my stuff since I don-t have my 2-factory. So I found Authy and been switched over ever since.

Xiaomi doesn't even allow you to unlock your bootloader, this change has been added recently and now with data collection. It just paints a horrible picture, i guess Huawei isn't the only one when it comes to doing shady stuff.
