In todays episode we unbox the Zalman ZM1200-EBT modular power supply, which in my opinion is a perfect fit for a cryptocurrency mining rig. It is a powerful 1200W ATX PSU with an 80 plus gold certification, which clocks in at a price of just around 150. I stumbled upon this power supply online a couple of days ago and after doing research on it I found that people seemed to give it very high marks. So I got one and figured I should make a video about it to spread the word. It also comes with LOADS of cables, including 4 single strand PCIe 6+2 pin cables as well as another 2 double stranded (or daisy chained) PCIe 6+2 pin cables for a total of 8 PCIe 6+2 plugs! If you are looking for a power supply to use in a crypto mining rig, like me, then having as many PCIe cables coming straight out of the power supply, limiting the amount of splitter cables you have to use, is a massive plus! In my opinion this is the best ATX PSU I have found, it is very cheap, it is modular, it is powerful att 1200W, it comes with loads of cables and it's 80 plus gold certified!
