I was recently continually declined when making a purchase at Macy's, and could not figure out why!
Each time I made my order, I received a cancellation email several minutes later.
When I called the customer service, (Philippines, I was repeatedly told that Macy's could not verify my information! I could not get any specifics out of them! Frustrating!
I was routing my transaction through PayPal, and they and my credit card issuer confirmed that the transaction was approved, yet repeatedly declined by Macy's!
After numerous cancellations, and calls, I finally got a CS representative that asked me if I was using a VPN?
I said -Of course, as it is a highly recommended security protocol! -
The rep told me that Macy's will cancel any transaction made using a VPN!
This is outrageous, and I was floored by this statement and policy!
Despite having the transaction approved by my bank, and PayPal, Macy's will not approve a transaction when the buyer uses a VPN for security purposes.
I have also had these type of cancellation problems with Best Buy, and JC Penney, and now I probably know why! I always hear, we can't verify your information!
I have not had this problem with some other merchants, so it seems to be a selective policy enforcement problem.
Have you heard of this before, as it seems to be contrary to all recommended security protocols, especially the ones that you recommend?
Is there a workaround, besides turning of my VPN?

basically protonmail cannot encrypt metadata such header, sent to whom, sent from, and what so ever also emails that going outside protonmail server. A honeypot for the three letter agencies. protonmail can only encrypt emails from protonmail to protonmail. no email provider that are better than making your own email server. Just saying.

Bro please make a video on Indian identity card i. e. Aadhar card which we and have to link with our bank account, phone number, driving license, PAN card and used in other govt. schemes. It's not safe i know. But i want to see you views on this.

Can someone tell me if Rob Braxman's complaints about Protonmail are credible (e. g. metadata leaks, etc?

Use both protonmail and tutanota, they each have the uses. Certain sites will no longer accept protonmail, or pm. me, as valid email addresses. My, former, auto insurance, Geico, is one such company.

I'm not surprised about Google giving away our searches based on key words. I left the Google empire for good, with you tube as the only reason why I still have a google account.

BTW pls correct the macos gets less viruses, because according to malwarebytes, the average win users had 5 viruses, but the average Mac user had 11 viruses.
