companies are driving technology and advancement not open source yes open source is participating a lot but general consumption products/software are made by private corporations motivated by financial gains by delivering their products/services they have the resources and the budget to make and maintain huge projects for exemple i am network/security engineer and if we see who is making the network products we see cisco/HPE/DELL/NOKIA/Ericson/Huawei they are the big players they have the budget and knowledge to make entreprise products no one is counting on open source projects running in their business even in cloud few years ago people hyped opensource cloud projects like openstack but look what happened to it no one is deploying it seriously AWS and Azure are dominating the market. maybe you concluded that i hate opensource but no i like open source i use linux i have no problem with that. you can count on opensource apps when messaging with your friends no problem but when you own your business or you are in charge in a company you need things that you can trust you can easily fix but opensource to this point is lacking on that because a simple contribution from some one could destroy every think opensource need some coordination, some management a mastermind because going lone wolf will lead no were(just a disclaimer yes every one is deploying linux in entreprise word but other fields opensource is is falling behind and need a lot of improvements for example in the in the entreprise word the Microsoft active directory to this day have no opensource real alternative that can provide such the level of services that Microsft AD can provide) also we dont own the infrastructure of the internet me you and every body we are just -renting- someone else cable to send our data some could suggest opensource decentralised infrastructure but that's way to hard you millions if not billions do deploy a network that cover the whole world and this is not including international borders and legal stuff we have also there are ethical problems like sites that are using stolen software do you block them or permit them

To end the surveillance contact your state guard militia and demand they put a stop to the illegal spyware spying on us. Spying on fellow citizens is treason. Do you know the punishment for treason? Hint: firing squad.
We did not agree to be spied on by the spyware devices owned/used by our friends/family/associates and strangers. Therefore their spying is not always legal. It's only legal if you agreed to it in the ToS/EULA. We did not agree to be spied on by other people's devices. Illegal spying is treason.
