-Or just don-t buy a Tesla- A few points:
- In the US and select other countries, Teslas are very common on the road, so the security of them are still your concern, unless you-re okay with a Tesla on autopilot dive-bombing into you.
- It-s only a matter of time before all cars are setup similarly to Tesla, and they are laying down the foundation for what-s to come. You can choose to help make it private and secure, or give them the full reigns to do what they want.
- Tesla makes arguably the best EVs on the market. For people without an intense threat model, they can find a great middle balance of having the car they want with the peace of mind they need.

I suspect the reason is because Tesla employees/engineers assumes that everyone will accept the car-s terms & conditions, that when they-re faced with the question of what happens if they don-t, since they-re never trained on that, they can-t give you an answer.
It would be like creating a bartending robot that can take customers- orders for drinks and can mix cocktails perfectly, but then someone asks the robot where the bathroom is, and the robot freaks out because it was never trained to answer that question, because the robot designers never anticipated that this would ever happen.

Wow! I never even thought about any of this.
Side note. I'm surprised to see a smart watch on your wrist. I'm going to make an assumption, since you're shooting in 4K. You are making enough money at this, that I want you to check something out for me. It's great for internet security too. A Rolex Milgauss.
You should at least try it on. I understand, it's not cheap; but at least try one on. Trust me, you'll fall in love. tinyurl dot com / ycasxymm

Seriously, Tesla cars and newer smartphones should be given away free by default, because in the invigilation process the user is a product, the user's data is the currency and the collected, AI-analysed knowledge is the profit the keeps on giving, an investment for now and later.
Like the saying goes: if something's free - you're the product.

So basically turn your Tesla into a 10 y/o car feature wise with an electric motor. (Not a criticism of this video, more me being disappointed how terrible Tesla and other car manufacturers seems to handle the things you mentioned)

We rightfully hear a lot about safety (for obvious reasons, but the media almost never mention data privacy and safety. Until this gets attention and people object, Tesla and other car manufacturers won't change until its too late.

Privacy? Lol. That's history. The Internet of Things is even going to have people paying to wear _smart clothes_ and everything else. Welcome to Dystopia, George Orwell's nightmare is upon us. Enjoy the social credit score system.

Surely we have the capability to make a vehicle that can get up to a proper speed and stop, without all the electronic tech.
Something broke assholes like me could afford.

Exactly what was my main concern about Tesla. Mind you all newer cars as I hear (from 2014 or so.
Great to finally come across a video that tries to tackle it.
Cheers!
