Gigabyte GTX 1070 Overclocking for Mining Ethereum (How to MAXIMIZE HASHRATE) - Sebs FinTech Today I walk you through how to overclock a Gigabyte GTX 1070 graphics card in MSI Afterburner to increase the hashrate for mining Ethereum. We do this by opening up MSI afterburner and to start we adjust the memory clock of the gtx 1070 GPU. We then move onto adjusting the core clock in MSI afterburner which really increases the hashrate for mining on the Gigabyte 1070 graphics card. After this we have another look at the memory clock since the core clock and mem clock seem to affect each other. Finally we lower the power limit in order to reduce the electricity consumption of the GPU. All in all I hope this MSI Afterburner tutorial will teach you the techniques for overclocking your GTX 1070 GPUs for Ethereum mining. All in all we end up with a hashrate of around 28 MH/s which is pretty decent for a 1070. About overclocking: for crypto mining using GPUs, overclocking is a way of tweaking the settings of your graphics cards in order to improve their performance and thereby increase your mining hashrate. Please remember that overclocking is done at your own risk and the settings for my graphics card won't necessarily work for you as each card is unique. In short, my process when overclocking in MSI Afterburner for crypto mining is this: pull memory clock all the way down. Then increase by small amounts until you get a crash. Then leave the memory clock where you got the highest hashrate without crashing and repeat the same process for your core clock. Remember that core clock and memory clock can impact each other so it is important to always analyze and adjust your numbers throughout the process, and experiment!

Hey, nice content! liked and sub. I have an exact same 1070 and getting much lower hr with stock settings and trex (17mhs) , should I blame Win7 and move to win10? or could be something else?

power limit 58
temp limit 64
core clock +200
memory clock +300
fan speed 60
I got GPU clock: 2088mhz, mem clock: 4100mhz, temp 25 oC
Eth speed 28.100 MH/s

I have same card. I can get 27.11mhs with +150core and +1000memory. memory is samsung. I will try going lower with memory and core
