Although this video is from Mar 16th 2022 the options are not the same on my fully up to date system with latest drivers. I don't see Adaptive Optimal or Prefer Maximum Performance I only see NVidia recommended or Use global setting as options for power management for explorer and DWM.

this is a first that I have ever heard someone say turn g-sync off and that's coming from a long time PC user from someone who actually owns a compatible g sync monitor for me actually it helps when on takes the screen tearing away and I noticed my game runs smoothly

Most of that performance gain is probably just turning on rebar. Hard to say if any of those tweaks really did anything. Would like to see another test where rebar is out of the equation, either being on at all times or off completely.

Do not change your Manage GPU performance counters.. I will cause a Screen connect loop an It will brick your GPU drivers, and will cause the need to reinstall the drivers completely. This setting will not change performance at all.. DO NOT CHANGE.

Whenever i try to change the power management mode to maximum performance, I hit apply and then it automatically changes back to NVIDIA Recommended without me doing anything. Any fix for this?

I dont even see that monitor technology setting at 2:28. Also the only option I have with the explorer power management is use global setting and it does not actually apply after applying.
