With performance mode the game uses whatever the settings that are locked out were set to before you turned performance mode on. Example: If you have post processing and textures set to lets say high in DX11 and you switch over to performance mode, even though those options are no longer available, they will still be on high in performance mode.

Hi I have done all your optimisations to the dot, multiple drivers and everything. Any other game that's made well runs so good but no matter what my fortnite runs trash on any dx mode or performance, if I'm running 400 or 100 fps I get stutters up to 30ms consistently. Should I just accept it and not play?

Idk if this is happening for anyone else but when I play fortnite I get an FPS drop every 60 seconds. I didnt pay much attention to it but after a while it got annoying because its the only game it happens in. I think fortnite is just unoptimized and unplayable atm so Ill just wait till they fix it, hopefully

I have a 5950x and a 3080 and I can get up to 360 fps but it is super inconsistent and I get massive drops and it isn't smooth at all. I've done all low settings, capped my fps, everything. My temps are completely fine but I'm getting extremely underwhelming performance. I just don't get it.

Panjo I am desperate and I have a problem on fortnite whenever I run highend settings like high textures ray tracing global illumination my system cpu runs at 30% and gpu usally around 50-60% and when I play on lower settings then it actually tries I have a 3060ti core i7 dell xps 8940

sorry i have a problem, even tho I set the limit of fps at 160 they arrive at 300 and I would like to keep them at 160 what should I do ( btw sorry for my English I'm Italian)
