thank you & wish I had seen this sooner. I learned about Signal quite some time ago - and gave it a look because Edward Snowden recommended it. but I imagine, like Laura Poitras, he's probably disappointed & regretting that now.
and there's just NO excuse for -tptb- - Signal for their deception, such bad decisions all around! it's truly disgusting & removing the site from my bookmarks. because NO WAY would I touch their 'service, ' not even with a 10 foot pole! -

Sounds like signals gone too deep or trying to do too much. Are bitcoin just burning energy for nothing? I get bitcoin are supposed to be anonymous but beyond that do we really want more ways to track you? is there any where you code down load the old signal code? Any alternatives available to signal? I want get my family away from what's app. I was saying signal. I guess its matrix now.

Is it really surprising that a tech company takes off as a free service, developing its tech and cultivating users for years, and then cashes out? If you were in their shoes but didn't do the same you would be a fool.
