create many different sidebars for each page. For example if you want have a different sidebar on the about page than the contact page this will show you how to do it. We will download the plugin called custom sidebars to accomplish this!

Hi Tyler,
Great video. Very clear. Unfortunately, I followed your instructions and the sidebars didn't appear at all. I went to the Default Sidebar tab in Appearance > Custom Sidebars and selected some default sidebars. That worked for by blog and category tabs, but not for any pages.
Any thoughts?
I'm working with responsive theme and I'm new to wordpress, but learning.

Hi, I installed Tesseract 2.5.5 and I have a problem with an invisible sidebar on the left of each page. My content is being forced in the middle and to the right. Never had this problem with the older theme. I have removed all widgets from the Primary Sidebar but have this empty white space that appears. What can I do to fix? Am running WP 4.5.3. Thanks

I appreciate your teaching style for Wordpress customizations, but this video needs to be updated so that it matches the actual selections I see on my website admin edit sections. I am NOT a techie; I need current step-by-step instructions; I have the free Twenty Twelve theme. Thank you again for being a patient, relatable teacher. -

Normally I don't bother commenting videos, but since you've done an awesome job, I did. Perfectly described, simple in use, just perfect. And a quick question; is it possible to create a secondary navigation in the sidebar? Or better use the menu options wordpress provides? Thanks.
Great vid, great tut though!

That's awesome! I was tired of having the sidebars being global or having to remove them all together from a template. Thank you so much. I would so love you to show the basic of some Adobe. I bought Creative Cloud and know one is as clear and simple to understand as you. Thank you so much.

Tyler, when i downloaded the custom sidebars, and on the widgets page when i've created the page for the sidebar, when i want to add content it will not let me scroll down to save, and I also downloaded the blackstudio plug-in and it is not showing up in my widget page?

Hi Tyler, thank you for the excellent video you provide. However, one of your plug-ins didn't work for my WordPress 2014 Theme. I found another sidebar editor after following your keyword search suggestions. Thank you very much, keep up the good work.

How can you create a sidebar for a gallery page?
For example on the gallery page you have a dedicated sidebar for the different picture that you have. Just like categories, Art, Sports, Nature, City Pictures, Random pictures, etc.
