Anyone can do anything with any technology, be it from big tech companies or smaller ones. In fact, they can do it even without super complex technologies, as they can put that stuff in houses and cars, and even older things with less advanced technology can spy on you, so what I-m hearing is that you think that technology should not exist, and that we should all still b hunter gatherers, cuz in the same light, we don-t no if Ford or Toyota or Tesla or Nissan is doing this same stuff. We don-t no if house builders or watch makers or security systems can do these same things. But at the same time, without these technologies, the quality of life will decrease, so where do we win? By your logic, we can-t. It-s impossible 2 find a middle ground. In fact, technically the best solution is if the human race never existed in the first place, because then we never would have created this paradox, and we wouldn-t have been complaining, nor would we have been able 2 even conceive of this stuff, because with any intelligent species, in terms of things they can do, it-s not a matter of can they, but rather a matter of when will they. This shit was bound 2 happen at some point because of the fact that we r intelligent in the first place, so if we-re intelligent, then some one at some point in time would eventually come up with this idea, but if humanity never existed, then this issue would b resolved. I-m not saying go kill yourself, far from it. I-m just saying that our mere existence has doomed us 2 this grim fate, and there-s really nothing we could do abt it from the get-go. By your logic, looking at the sheer numbers and the facts, life is better off without intelligence as we know it. But we all enjoy life, don-t we? And it-s better not 2 think of these things, isn-t it? That-s why I just trust the marketing unless given a really good reason not 2, because then I can just enjoy life without being paranoid that I-m being watched. I believe everything said in this video is accurate, but I-m choosing not 2 listen because the thought process of -I need 2 put down my electronics- opens up a whole can of worms that I don-t care 2 think abt, because any technology can track u, even if that-s not the sole purpose, but without said technologies, we wouldn-t b living very good, worry free lives. So thanks 4 ur opinion, but I-m gonna contribute 2 your problem anyway and deal with the consequences when they arrive
Edit: also, 2 those who said they-re gonna stop using their electronics and platforms, need I remind u what platform ur watching this on and who owns it? Yeah, thought so
Edit 2: in Apple-s defense, they introduced features that prevent tracking from outside sources, like privacy report, and the camera and microphone indicator and even inside sources, such as on device Siri on iOS 15. I even tested on device Siri on iOS 15 beta by turning off both Wi-Fi and Cellular, and asking Siri 2 set a timer, and it worked. Now, ofc, this would probably b more accurate if I weren-t using my iPhone, but instead an iPad without the cellular option, and in an area devoid of any apple devices it Wi-Fi signals, but I don-t expect a different result. Hell, the fact that the -apple tax- even exists should b clear indication that apple doesn-t sell your information or use it 4 any devious purposes (cuz apple would need 2 make up the money somehow. I do acknowledge that an attacker from outside of apple could probably get a hold of this information all the same, and 4 that I remain a bit cautious, but I-m not inclined 2 believe that apple is handling ur information in any way that is harmful, if at all

Great presentation and stands on it's own, but also please do another to update.
Not sure if it will be in the near future, but it will be in -one of- the next Apple iWatches.
A future version of an Apple iWatch will include an Blood Alcohol Level sensor. A variation of this statement comes directly from Apple.
One pays for all of the following. Person pays for their own Apple iWatch. The iWatch them communicated with a variety of iPhones, also paid for. Even for a variety of cars, which could have been paid for - communicate with Apple devices.
This is bad news for:
1. Any person who has ever been drinking before legal age.
2. Or outside of legal times.
3. When there is a risk that this data could be shared with your employer.
4. When one gets into a vehicle after -any- level of drinking.
Your watch, your phone, and your vehicle. ALL could have data pulled from them, where the facts will be presented. Your watch will basically testify and hold facts against you. You'll be in front of a Judge looking at some extensive fines. You could easily be looking a time behind bars.

Brother Robby. Respect. - Thank you for your perspective and wisdom. So Im thinking tapping over my iPhone 8-s cameras and deactivating my zuckerborg crap isnt enough. Facebook is a censorship machine it suppressed my efforts to share information about alternative fuel carburetor technology and renewable energy studies but allows haters to make cyber bullying pages where they make jokes about attending my funeral and spin slanderous rumors. I suspect the dating apps are shadow banning me for openly stating I don-t trust big pharma or experimental injections the same way Facebook is using vaccine hesitancy ranking and demotion per the project Veritas report- please weigh in on the VH scores and the fake freedom of speech on Facebook, Rob.

currently you can turn off all location services and turn off find my iPhone in the privacy settings, but I believe that the find my network will still be on if you turn off the find my iPhone, but leave some location services on (needed for many apps and services. I don't think they'll let you opt out of the network, or at least not easily since every additional iPhone/iPad/Mac/Apple Watch/Apple TV/etc expands their network.

Talk about WEIRD! Sitting hearing listening to the video on a laptop but with my Android open looking items up on Pinterest. At approximately the 17: 40 mark, when Rob starts talking about Beacon, my Google Assistant wakes up and puts up a map with the Beacons that are in the area. I've never used Beacon, rarely use my Assistant, and Rob's voice clearly doesn't sound like me. Yep, these things ALWAYS have their ears on!

If there are ny that work in canada, or any that won't if the majority do, could you please respond here or perhaps even indicate in the brief description on each product in your store? Thanks. And thank you for sharing your insights.

Lol, if I'm not using Bluetooth it's off. If I'm at home on my secured network my wifi is on. When I leave the house my phone or laptop is almost on airplane mode. You want a great password that will take eternity to get through: - TryToGetPastThis##! - Where there are # signs put a number, and! Use a special character.

Thank you Mr Braxman for your work. Curious what you know about the use of some retailers using product -user tracking. ie. GAP or other is pinging users which areas of a store they are shopping. this information helps the retailers assess buying shopping habits( Beyond the Google Beacon)

I posted an air tag and tracked it from post office all along the route and even when it arrived at the destination it didn-t start beeping until 2 days later. Apple has less privacy than ever - better hardware and the capability to be super secure and private and yet it is not.

I agree with you, even if Apple is pure in terms of morality and privacy, there are countless new security vulnerabilities. Today for example I linked up my Apple AirTag and received a message that-s new device was using my iMessages in iCloud.
