CeontOs is ok but some library there (like Glibc) is too old for some software...

I'm a linux newbie, cut and pasted your command, then didn't realize that when the I entered the password that it wouldn't display. I finally got the new install completed, so this should be a joy ride. Thank you for the video and script.

hey chris i just installed kde fedora it worked the best with the programs i was useing. i am comeing from windows and has been a little bit of a learning curve. is there plugin i need to run to get videos to run smootly on firefox?

Post install on ubuntu (that does almost all the stuff in your script)...
sudo apt install build-essential
Done. BTW you might want to give geany a try. It's an excellent text editor and configurable dev environment.

Hey Chris, that script was so helpful but i want to use the default terminal ui, not this one with colourful text and this ->- sign, how to revert back to it's original state?
