As far as I know it is only possible to cast notebook or other source to google chromecast through the same wifi enviroment. Is it also possible to connect directly through wifi connection to google chromecast without wifi environment?

Cool, thanks for the tutorial. I think i know an app similar to it. It was called i think -AweSun Remote Desktop- and had screen mirroring feature you mentioned even more and was free. Free and works for me.
