Chris, how do you go about reversing some of these changes? I ran Tron script and at some point on an earlier install also ran the debloat script you have a video on. Ever since then Windows update and access to the Microsoft app store have been disabled (what i wanted to happen), but i now need Windows update enabled in order to install .NET framework 3.5. Similarly, I need to enable access to the Microsoft app store to install Nvidia control panel. I've searched through the group policies, registry, and Windows settings and for the most part didn't see anything changed (there were a couple registry entries i reverted back, but that didn't help). I even tried running ShutupWin10 (or whatever it's called) and running the revert to stock option. It allegedly reverted everything back, but not much actually changed. Definitely still can't run windows update. Any idea what to do? I am really trying to avoid rebuilding windows entirely.

really respect you for your tutorials as have been following all, esp: as not so advanced myself - Just one thing as going through this you mentioned you don't use CCleaner yet I saw it installed in last tutorial in de-bloating windows 10?
thanks for all help - If all goes right cool - If wrong will have to just format :/ Love ya dry humour . . .

Hi, Chris!. Once you you finish setting everything up and debloating, do you make an ISO (mirror image) out of that optimized system?. If not, which software do you recommend for backing that up and that would be useful for clean install the next time?.

Free Avast has a silent mode that actually doesn't nag at all!!
You just have to setup blocking redshell.io and api.redshell.io in your hosts file, because according to wireguard it has several connections to that and I've read that Redshell is bad.

I know this is an old video, but I also recommend the browser extension -Dark Reader- (with a blue darth vader style helmet icon with eyes on it) It makes ALL websites dark. It's very customizable and allows you to set dark mode on or off per site.

i agree pretty much everything besides with the anti virus. You don't really need to pay premium for an antivirus when windowes own does it's job as well as any paid one. Still decent video with knowledge

I'm a big proponent of WinAero Tweaker, especially on systems that I configure for other people. It's simple enough for non-techy people to use and it's impossible to actually break anything with it.

Been following you for some time and am please with your recommendations. I run a Window's box in the office for my wife and have a Linux Mint HTPC. With your help and tweaks they both run great. Thanks

Great recommendation! Just one question about your current win10 debloat script.. is that a one time run or how often do you recommend running it? I already use bleachbit about 2 times in a week.

10/10 video. Best for powerusers. Would be cool to know any sort of windows mods like python scripts you use for day to day. For example, I use a bypass paywall one on a daily basis
