The amount of people putting -default- passwords is very miniscule especially when most services require you to have an unguessable password. The only time people get yr password is when they're surveilling you, or hacking into the data of the service you put yr password on which they can do regardless of what yr sign in info is, so the reasoning behind removing passwords is ridiculous. They should just have multiple options to login like they do now instead of forcing a method on the people. You have more control over yr password than yr fingerprint & thats how it should be, so if im perfectly fine using a password i shouldnt have to be forced to use another method. Any forceful change these people make is doing nothing, but keeping you out of control of yr own accounts & yr own information which is counterproductive.

Security companies is where MOST of the virus and hacking crap COMES FROM-- they sell you -protection- like the old gangster racket in the 30s. and then HIT you and want to sell you MORE. I had an aunt that NEVER used any kind of security stuff or tried to do anything with -privacy-- and for years NEVER had a single problem on her computer and no hacking or accounts messed with or anything--- UNTIL the day she decided she better get security-! She paid for the best she could get at the time- and two weeks later was blasted- her accounts emptied, all kinds of crap coming it-- it was a mess.

Why is Microsoft -Azure- pronounced differntly as for example the color -Azure Blue- is pronounced? This false/marketing-friendly pronunciation already classifies as having drunken Microsoft's Cool-Aid. Other than that, it's hillarious that OMI is an automatic update service, but Microsoft (probably because it's Linux) doesn't deploy the update that fixes the OMIGOD barn door automatically. Probably in order to bully Linux users and tell them -should have used Windows! - - Despicable company, Microsoft is.

You're a fool if you believed VPNs are legit service in the first place. You pay them to give them your data. Then they make a profit on selling your data. It's brilliant. At least make it freeware like AdBlockers.
Idiots will believe anything. Just think of 2020/2021 for proof. People wasting their money on plaid designer face panties. Or yoga pants for the face. Is this enough proof of their ignorance? Or how about 'free to play' video games? -If I buy two loot boxes. I get another one free! -

OMG! PLEASE don't recommend ANY kind of electronic lock, especially a generic recommendation like that. 98% of them are TOTAL CRAP - the secure electronics are in the keypad, leaving the lock disarming wires accessible. The lock _Relay_ is in the keypad, leaving it vulnerable to a simple magnet. There are some good ones out there, but you're going to pay for the quality, and you HAVE to do your research!

16: 30 This is the whole reason I just settled on Debian itself. Ubuntu is a fork, Mint is a fork of that, most distros nowadays are just forks of forks that are all depending on changes and updates to upstream projects. I figure if Debian is a good enough base for Ubuntu, Mint, Pop, etc, then it's good enough to just run Debian itself and customize it how I want.

I don't trust fingerprints one bit. If you have a password system you trust and tested then I'd trust it far more than a fingerprint. Police, government have your fingerprints or at least can get it easily if they need. Same for foreign governments. With all the leaks and hacks I think relying on your fingerprints that can't be changed is s big mistake.

Man. I use Firefox 59 or something on Android, because it's the last version or something with the old tabs layout and functionality. I'm never gonna update. If I get hacked by a 3 year old malwware then good on that person for trying to get at someone with a 3 year old app lol. I only use it for reading and shit tho, so no proper details or passwords.

Big note for biometric security for those with certain threat models:
YOUR FINGERPRINT, YOUR IRIS, YOUR FACE, ARE NOT LEGALLY PASSWORDS. THEY CAN BE COMPELLED FROM YOU BY LAW ENFORCEMENT WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.
Proceed with caution. I no longer use biometrics on anything.

You are wrong about updates. Linux updates are optional, and that's how it should be everywhere. Have you noticed that almost every update now changes the terms and service, and there's no way to opt out? This is because they're skirting privacy laws on-the-fly these days.
