Even without GSnap, Audacity already gives you some of the same features. However, you have to do a lot of the work manually as opposed to GSnap doing it automatically. You can highlight a certain part of your recording and change the pitch to whatever key you want it in by clicking -effects-, then clicking -change pitch-. You can go up a full octave, or down a full octave one half step (semi-tone) at a time. It's more time consuming, as you might have to highlight a little at a time. Like, one word, or possibly even one syllable of a word at a time. GSnap is for people like me, who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket and need all the help I can get. But, if you can already sing, you can use all of the default effects Audacity comes with to fine tune your voice. Eg. change pitch, compression, reverb, etc.

for me everything worked accept the last step in audacity after selecting an audio when i ope gsnap its coming blank although while moving the cursour around it, its showing the option to select and stuff but the image its all white..also when a minimize and the maximize it again then its coming black

I have a 64 bit pc so make sure to download the 64 bit version of Gsnap. I tried 32 bit but didn't work. Also if you don't find audacity folder in Program files x86, then click the one above it ( Program Files)

That was good info thank you. would like to see if there anything you need to know differently when our recording longer clips like 45 minutes to 1 hr meditations, hypnosis scripts ect..?

does not work with audacity 3.1.3. tried all the tricks and suggestions but no matter what the library will not load. sad to say
