Well, I mean its decent, Honestly On a laptop I wouldn't even consider running RayTracing however the DLSS. Yes. Personally speaking G14/15 is all you need.
Benchmarking in most cases is flawed, you can call it a CPU test, but the issue is your testing the entire Mobo/CPU/RAM and no matter how you try you cannot isolate the variables enough to call it a scientific analysis that is properly done in most cases its just a generalization and a data point for averages. Its also is not even remotely ethical to compare M processors to Intel, because Apple Cheat through optimization(well and then they torched their own product release in the Macbook Air by not even having the Intel processor touching the heatspreader, guess that helped justify their change over, but on an Apples to Apples comparison aka without using MacOS a RISC processor is still a RISC processor and subject to the laws of Physics, I know people like buying into the whole its magic marketing BS, but there is a distinct reason why RISC died out and people have been saying for nearly 40 years it was going to kill x86, the fact of the matter is unless its performance per watt used as a metric its the only way its remotely relevant, a Threadripper versus the new many core M series, AMD will still kick its ass for a 3rd of the price and your delusional if you think otherwise, Fugaku only works because of core scaling with testing parameters, on a core per core basis ARM can never compete without adopting some of the x86 arch.
STALKER was a clear winner for E3.
Its harder to Over harvest money from PC players and bad ratings and bad practices go viral. also we are vindictive and don't like excessive monetization options. You can get away with that on Consoles, Mobile and such, where frankly the maturity is on the level of a 12 year old and people only like simplistic experiences.
I expected someone to strap a Gordon Doll in a chair in a starfleet uniform when he is missing, and having an easy button with his best quotes/: -)

The LG thing clearly was a cultural misunderstanding, but I don't think it's reasonable to say -it's -just- culture clash-, as if either option would have been fine. Either you pay reviewers and tell them what to say, or you don't, both are fine, it's just a different culture? I don't think so, and I'm pretty sure nobody at PC World thinks so, either. Paying people for reviews is deceptive, and it's bad, and it's harmful, because it (rightfully) makes people lose trust in the media.
Also, not disclosing that something is an ad or a paid endorsement -is-, in fact, illegal in lots of countries. Not sure about the exact legal situation in the US, but Hardware Unboxed are not American, so that doesn't really matter.

I don't think I'd call that a -culture clash-, that's just plain wrong. As consumers we expect our reviewers to be independent, and it's imposible to trust media that would change their reviews for a fee. I also don't expect the manufacturer to tell the reviewer how to do their jobs, that's obviously not in the best interest of the consumer. It's an absurd and dishonest way of doing business, here, in Asia, or in Mars even, it doesn't matter where.

If you talk benchmarks Jim-Adored has form investigating the shenanigans.
In summer my hands are burnt by my Intel/Nv 17- gaming laptop, if you actually use it, cooler and thicker is better.
OTOH I have an old AMD A10 in reserve which I reinstalled with an SSD and ppl who borrow it really like it, decent battery life and better iGPU for light gfx stuff like casual games.
AMD are on my demand list!

E3 was BETTER this year. I always thought E3 was bad in the past with the forced crowd applause and nonsense. And why should i want a full nerd fishing hat when i can just get some initech merch? Also, the guy asking about the high frame rate monitor. I have a 300fps monitor and a 60/4k monitor. When playing most games, i notice the 4k more. Everything is more crisp and clear. also, LG FTW!

I don't believe in the culture clash idea, it's not as if LG is just discovering the western world or that reputable reviewers ask for money in exchange of a favorable review, doesn't matter what part of the world they're from a reviewer that gets paid for it and doesn't disclose it instantly looses its reputability and respect.

Interesting choice putting a Port Royale benchmark and then a PCIE benchmark as the first two discussion points of the G15/6800M performance. Maybe lead in with the info that apply to the 99% you mentioned that don't use ray tracing.

Let's not forget, AMD announced Radeon 5000 mobile last year, then nothing was available. like anything. ever. So far, it looks like that ASUS will at least be available to those who want it. Hopefully there are many more to come.

Battlefield 1942 matchmaking was a Gigantic Steaming Pile of Hot Garbage! By the time you get all your friends in a squad the map is over. 5 of us played for about 3 maps and never played it again. Ditto with Battlefield 1.
