Hey Keith,
great video. :D
I have been wondering about battery life on the EMMC version compared to the NVMe version of the Steam Deck ever since this teardown video was released.
Do you think the wattage saved from the lack of NVMe would increase battery life in any significant way?
I'm guessing they are using 3. 3v 1a NVMe cards. Some 2230 get as high as 3. 3v 2. 5a (which is why I think they stress not trying custom upgrades.
Going from 3. 3w to 8. 25w power draw on the storage drive could really impact battery life/performance on these ultra low-wattage devices.

That's a bunch of obtuse marketing wank from Intel. If AMD's time is over, what does that say about the last couple of generations if Intel's processors? Intel is calling its current customers -Suckers! - for buying it's products. Be careful Intel; the stone you throw may be in your own glass house.

You might want to learn how to pronounce -venerable-. Stress is on the first syllable. Intel is funny, after so many years, even decades, of ripping us off. Now they're talking smack about their competitor. Maybe they should wait to actually do something and then talk

No surprise that Win 11 has issue's out of the gate, but then every new release of Windows has had this issue since Win 95 time and time again. If Win 10 was actually complete there'd be no use for Windows Update. Cheers

Typical, Microsoft Gimped the Phenom II X6's performance when Windows 7 was launched to prop Intel up when they were down, here they go again!

Intel is back? Does he mean like going back to wasting millions acquiring/ruining non-core businesses and then writing them off?
