In this episode the gang covers the PC news out of GDC 2023, the death of Intel co-founder Gordon Moore, and of course we answer your questions live!
Turbobuttes: Good take by Gordon on motherboard features and prices, it's a price creep when you add stuff, plus in the lower budget market how much demand is there really for it. I thought GN Steve's most recent rant (half of which seemed to consist of Y U NOT PUT POST CODE ON 140 DOLLAR BOARDS) was pretty subjective and immature. If the post code is that important to you you're likely enough of an enthusiast to buy a higher end board for other features anyway, or you can just add a 20 dollar PCIe module (unfortunately these don't seem to exist for M.2 slots yet despite the form factor being ideal, otherwise you'd finally have another use for the three or four M.2 slots on motherboards nowadays).
