Video editing on AMD is 1000% fine. I don't have access to a variety of cards like Adam does. But I would bet money I edit more videos a week. For work I use to have a 3900x and 5700xt. Now I use a 7950x and a 7900xt. I have no problems. I'm able to edit videos fast, export fast. I always hear this stability nonsense and i've never experienced it. I do have a laptop for live streaming (cameras at events), that thing has an intel/nvidia setup and it crashes more than my desktop with all amd. I really do not like that laptop at all. Also streaming on the 7900 XT is awesome. AV1 is the real deal, quality often looks like actual game play.

People disabling their ecores aren t the brightest. Do any single core test with ecores on and off and you will find that you will have higher results with ecores on because they offload any work from being put onto those p cores. You will only run into lower speeds if a game starts using a ecore which I have not seen unless a game utilizes more than 6-8cores. But then what you would do is boot the game up and set the cores that you want the game to utilize. Really easy to do.

I am still on my intel 9900K 5.1GHz. And it certainly don't perform any less than the 1 year old Ryzen 5800x at my work computer. I always feel like the 9900K is more responsive eaven if the 5800x has a slightly higher performance benchmark. The AMD system occasionally locks up without any reason. The Intel system has been running without a glitch 24/7 for 4 years.

This might sound silly, but here is my theory on what will happen with reddit. those 30% that are keeping everyone in check are going to leave. reddit will do what reddit does and say oh well what's 30%? Then after 6 months or so reddit will get out of control with bots spamming unrelated, inappropriate, or uninteresting posts. Then it will die.

4 cores, maybe 8 is more than enough. If someone is so impatient that they cannot wait a few moments for a program to load, maybe more. Other than that there is no point. Humans need to relearn patients.

First time watcher, and these two people are so damn whinny. Gordon tries to give them why the CEO could have taken the action that he did, and they're acting so entitled.
