Great review, Unmesh. You really capture the heart of the issues with this and similar products.
I have their Portrait Professional (PP) and came across similar issues. I have gone back to using LR and doing manual touch ups and creating some basic recipes from them. From there I am now starting to create my own look and feel, which is an important process in creating one's artistic style. PP likely works better (i. e, gets better results) than LandscapePro simply because the subject (faces) is a more-defined problem space than landscapes. Nevertheless, I like keeping some realism aspects rather than trying to morph facial structures (egad) and show people at their best even if there best has some imperfections. The last thing I want from people looking at my client's pix is laughing behind the client's back about how clownish or reworked the client's face is. Ditto for my landscapes.

I understand your opinion but I don't totally agree with it. I have used PS for a little over 15 years. The ultimate decision of how a photo appears is up to the individual artist or even better, the client. If a prospect looks at your work online and hires you for the way your images turned out using this product, then that's great. People use PS and Lightroom to achieve the same effects. This is just a tool to get it done a little quicker. Is it perfect? No. However, if you can use it to add a little punch to your image, go ahead and download the trial, test it and then buy it if you like it.

Thanx for the review. I like the program nice and easy to use. Some people will say that it looks to fake but u can end up with the same result if u dont use Lightroom/Photoshop properly. I think this is a nice little option for extra colour/effects on your shots.

This is to photography what 'paint by numbers' is to artists. It's a toy that will destroy your ability to improve your photography skills. I'm glad you highlighted its short-comings/limitations.

I've used this software for several months. so. i can say that. this software is just like 'toy', 'picture game'. no photography editor. no real. this software make all photos into Painting.

In the moon shot can't you just move the moon over to where the reflection looks right, or is there even a slider that allows you to move the water reflection?

Can you tell if this program will blur the background? I'm looking for something other than Photo shop or lite room. Can it remove images?
