we will combine the power of Hue and Saturation, with Curves, and Masking to get the sweat spot to match the dry areas of the cloth. In the end, we will learn an additional step that always does the trick of matching colors!

all too fast and too little explanation of the most important step of refining the range. Just saying that looks right does not explain what we are supposed to do. I can play with the rage for ages and I don't know what I am looking to do with it I am supposed to maker it red? Blue? What? Just tweaking it and saying that looks right is not good enough.

Can someone tell me what is the point of using the Hue saturation adjustment layer in step 1? Because in step 2, we create a mask, right? So couldnt we directly have started with that & created the mask on that area and then add in all the curves and stuff? I'm not sure I understand why we refined and adjusted the range in step one?

These tutorials are very awesome. Really helps understanding the fundamentals of techniques (can use similar tools in other programs too. A helpful tip i used when starting to use masks. Think of a typical comic hero, the eyes are white to see, black to mask the image. Thank you again!

Hi there! Awesome video, as usual. Quick question for you, though. Would doing just the last step work also? I mean, when you used the color blend mode. It seemed to work like magic, I was wondering if it would be as effective if you hadn't done the previous adjustments.

mad respect for this dude and for how detailed and straightforward his explanations are.
just phenomenal stuff, I can't believe the type of crazy things I'm able to do on photoshop now just by watching these tutorials.

Rotating the brush is a fantastic tip. I just finished editing a couple of birds and took a while trying to find areas with the right texture alignment color and brightness. I might have to discard those and try this out.

For the lightness perception, you can use your regular Hue/Saturation layer with zero saturation, but you use 'Color' as blend mode and do exactly the same as a fill layer with no-saturation color

We don't understand y do u make your video so complicated. Example where is your nose? You show by twistingvyiur hands from back and show your nose. Make simpler man. Every video is very complex.

Thanks for all the great videos

Can you do a video on how to create sweat on a shirt. Im trying to create a sweaty activated shirt. If anyone else knows how. Please show me or send me a link. Thank you

Nice unique way of doing it. Frequency Seperation is my choice for edits like this though. Dont have to worry about editing textures and can just fix the color seperately.

That moment when you work parallel with the video and have already choose Saturation value 92 and PiX only later decides to set it to the EQUAL value as you did: )

did you do a degree or a course in photography editing or something? you seem so affluent with photohop which interests me to learn it!
reply

Super helpful video to remove sweat stains, thank you so so much! I've watched it like 20 times to memorize all the steps! So happy!

when you say HOLD THIS ALT-R OPtion, what you mean? Alter option or ALt-R option or just the ALT key? I am asking for a PC
reply

Too much actions. I think you could change layer into luminosity in hue/saturation layer. And turn up lightness )

When I try to rotate the sample with alt + shit + < or > nothing happends. do you know which is the problem? Thanks
