learn how to use the History Log feature in Photoshop to create detailed instructions of every step Hugh: Here is a challenge! Since Adobe is raising prices and many will try to find alternatives, Affinity Photo, total cost to buy outright, $50, does exactly what PS does plus more, and maybe you could start some tutorials on this software, as you are aware Adobe gets many mad with what they do. Because your tutorials are the Best!

Right now there is a problem for some people with the scroll bar not working with the File Info -> History field. Adobe is aware of it. For the time being, you can access this info by going to Bridge and the image's Metadata -> Edit History section.

Thanks again for a great tutorial. Do you have one to create a video of what you do as you work on a file, ie what we see when you do these? I would like to make short ones for talks and have no idea how to do this? Thanks

Hi Unmesh, this is, as usual, a great tip. It would be very helpful if tutorials of your previous videos were available.
Many thanks for sharing and have a very good day

great tutorial Unmesh. also helpful for me when I'm following along taking notes is to decrease the speed from normal to 85% for the video. then I can keep up! :)

Oh wow, nice.
I can see this being used in some academic situations.
So, how easy is it to manipulate the history log if it is embedded into the PSD file?

I totally like this video, helpful, but not what I expected from the title. I feel like it's more keeping track of and sharing, your data and settings.

Amazing. Earlier i know only the actions, which can save all the steps.
Now this method is workflow changing.
Thank you! Unmesh Sir.

Great stuff, Unmesh, especially for those of us that don't use PS daily. Excellent reminder on how you got from A to Z. Thank you!

Ps. Does anyone have a good Photoshop book to recomend?

Love your videos as always. I just want to know the thought process behind replicating effects of other photos.
