If the Sun was a bow the horizon (like in your sky) but out of frame (as your image) Would not the tree be possible to be lighten by the bright sun outside the frame, and thus be brighter then your sky in frame?

When you had the tree selected, I noticed you didnt feather the tree at all. Did you do that because it makes the mask not as accurate, maybe because it looks better without a feather or you just didnt think of it that in that moment?

HI Unmesh, what blend mode should we use if it's the other way around? Like the tree is dark (hope it's a raw image, let's assume it has all the details) and the bg is bright
