This two-layer technique is just another way to do dodging and burning, but a little more easily and helps you keep it compact. We will start by learning how to remove blemishes, and also, we will learn which blemishes to remove and which one to not. This is great, but how about all these skin retouches and examples with varying skin tones, not always fair skin? I appreciate the techniques but it would be nice to see them working on darker hues to see if its the same steps or if things need to be adjusted for darker tones. If not using darker tones as the default model to showcase the technique, how about adding in commentary or listed steps how these steps might alter for darker tones. Just a humble suggestion. It's a big world with human skin in lots of beautiful colors.

Many thanks for another wonderful tutorial. Unmesh, you make what seems complicated rather simple. By the way, I wonder who sings that background song, Waking up to a brand new day. just cant figure out the artist! Thanks for all your work.

Very well explained, just curious. 1. How long did the image take start to finish real-time?
2. Is there any suggestion on building a finished mental picture with the proper light so as to one can verify the before after in head?

Do you have a video that goes through the order of things. I do headshots and have to fix background a lot and then work on face. I am wondering what the best order of things are to retouch. Thank you

I love all your videos. I didn't understand the dodging and burning part. Can somebody tell me what to paint with the black and white brush? How do you know what to paint? Thank you.

YeAH! Well I don't see any examples of oriental woman with white faces and white highlights. Try that one. I'm having a hell-of-a-time, and I challenge you.
