we will also learn how to create realistic shadows in depth. First, we will start by learning simple techniques to mask out the subject. Next, we'll breakdown the procedure of blending the colors and tone of the subject and the background. Then, we'll dive even deeper into matching the depth of field and creating advanced shadows. In the end, we will learn the importance of global effects in a better blending of composite elements. GET THE COLOR PALETTE GENERATOR PLUGIN: Use the

Such a nice composition as always but I kinds think that the shadow is wrong, according to the position of the light and the light source being something like a omni light, the shadow should be skew to the right, the reference shadow was going in the direction you pointed out due to the position relative to the light source. Just my thoughts. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, such a master.

10: 55 I beg you! Please do not memorize the steps! Good news, Unmesh! My memory isn't nearly that good, so I was writing the steps down when you said that. and I continued writing (with a little bit of shame and guilt) for the rest of the video. I actually do this with all of your videos. Eventually, I use it so much that I actually know what I'm doing.

brilliant tutorial, the only thing I noticed was when you matched the direction of the foreground shadow to the direction of the one in the background, however that shadow is cast from a light source to the right of the object rather than left like the rest of the image so the shadow of the subject should fall slightly to the right not the left.

This is the type of tutorial or better yet if I may say, the best teacher. He wants you to think, analyze and learn the functions of each tool for you to be able to have a better in-depth understanding the software. He also wants you to develop your eye and the way we analyze images. And for that, kudos to you Unmesh. Keep it up.

A question Unmesh.
Why do you create a grey solid colour and then change to colour blend mode?
Why not simply create simply create a hue saturation and make the saturation zero?
Is there something that I am missing?

Please make a video of matching perspective between background and subject. So that the subject doesn't look too big or small in front of the background.

Great video I particularly liked how you sampled colors from the image to create a custom gradient application.

Even as a tutorial you are going too far with the adjustments. Keep it simple and effective and not creative.

Hmm. maybe a little mistake with the curves adjustment layer #4: 37. You were adjusting the Layer mask; )
