Looking for help. I have used this plug in for some time, with Photoshop 2020 v23. 2 and 22. 5. 6 and it worked fine. Recently when I attempt to load it I get an error message that basically says fx box extension could not load because it was not properly signed. I think this has something to do with a recent PS update but I can't find any info on it and the message goes on to recommend uninstalling PS and re installing it which I am reluctant to do. Anyone have a problem like this?

Boy am I stuck and take to the party. I have a subscription to Envado and am trying to download this - but with no real success. I downloaded the FX Box. and it is there in my panel but with no ability to add things to it. I click on the icon but no plus button. It says that I do not have a signed permission. but when I look at my privacy settings. nothing is being stopped by my virus software. Please someone send some assistance!

Hello my friend, or anyone else that can help, I tried to do this but clicked the wrong load button, I chose load brushes and now the program doesn't do what it should in this video, which I should have watched again while installing. Any ideas on how to go back? Should I uninstall FX box? Because uninstalling the oil painting fx doesn't change the brushes or even bring up the option to change it again?

I tried running this with PS 2022 and it wouldn't get passed the second generated layer. To fix this, I opened the Preset Manager (Edit/Presets/Preset Manager, selected Tools from the drop down menu, and then I clicked the load button. The file you want to load is Real Paint FX Tools. tpl, which can be found within the Use as ActionScript folder.

It's interesting how much paint emulation has moved on in the past ten years. I remember when I first saw Corel Paint and its autopaint feature, and being blown away by the realism, but the Real Paint effect is really rich and works inside Photoshop. For years, the paint effects in Photoshop set the standard - said no-one, ever.

Thank you for this. I've produced printed canvases of my children, which take pride of place in our home. I found that using lightroom to push the colours before applying the effect gives you a really painterly feel, especially if you increase brush size and reduce detail from the face outwards: John Singer Sargent style.

Hi, I have been using this action for over a year with no issues, I recently bought a new desktop and trying to install the action using the FX box it says no usable installer file. I tried restarting, reinstalling fx box but still no solution. Any advice would be appreciated: ) Thank you for your tutorials

everything worked up until the point of apply this effect it brought up 2 layers and didn't animate the way yours in the video shows. I sent a message to the actual program designer. I get stuck after Animate as well, it notifies, You must create a Real Paint

I would love to use this, unfortunately I have a new Mac mini with the M1 chip. I may be able to run it with Rosetta, but the native M1 version of Photoshop is much faster. I hope they come out with an updated Real Paint FX soon.

My computer has 24GB of RAM, and I can't run this plug-in completely. My system runs out of memory before it finishes even on a 500x725 8-bit JPG file. Did anyone here face any such problem?

For my friends with no usable installer file problem, change the installer name and I opened it directly from the folder. I hope that this works for you too. Cheers!

It made my both 2 computers gone mad. One has finished with a blank screen, literally canvas was gone. And the other wan get me a blue screen. So. idk.
