As impressive as it is, it's a very dangerous piece of technology. People already believe anything they see online, this will only make it worse. We won't be able to tell what's real and what's not anymore. Wars could actually start because of things like this. What's the solution? I'm not sure. Personally, I'm never in favor of banning anything, but at the very least any misuse of AI technologies should bear very high penalties.

The beginning of the end. I'll keep on saying it, technology is awesome, I love consuming technology, but it will be our downfall. Humans are just not responsible enough to have powerful tech, especially powerful tech that seems fairly innocuous on the surface. I mean, its not like its a nuke or something, but it is potentially just as dangerous in the wrong hands.

I'd be all in favor of AI voices if it was used solely for non-profit purposes. For example, I'm planning on using it to enhance the NPCs in my DnD games. But I'm worried about how it'll be used by the big corporations in the near future.

So we have AI-Art, Deepfakes, AI-Voices and more which can easily mimick someone, mimick their artwork style and much MUCH more.
It is really cool but also VERY Scary if this tech is used in the wrong way and to cause harm.

In the UK some telephone banking systems use your voice as your password. I Wouldn't recommend uploading your own voice. Use Donald Duck. Great vid btw :)
