Can you hear the difference between the cheapest mic on Amazon and the 3600 Neumann U87 Ai? In this video, we will explore the differences between a 1 mic and a legendary studio microphone. Right from the unboxing experience to the raw audio tests, we will attempt to make a cheap mic sound professional. Towards the end, after processing, we will do a blind test to see if you can tell the difference. Julio: Get the 1 dolar mic, find a friend with a Neumann U87 Ai, record a lot of your voice, talking, singing, doing all sort of sounds.
Get back home, train a voice AI model of your voice, record with the 1 dolar mic, convert to the Neumann trained voice.
Profit.

Great video! I made the journey in the other direction, starting with the Neumann (I have been a radio DJ since the 90s) and finding it overkill and sometimes even too sensitive for my daily surroundings in my home studio. For spoken word, I think the price range between 120 and 500 is optimal. But the processing has become so good and the electronics so cheap that even the cheapest mike will not hamper you in creating great content. I applaud your judgment.

I can appreciate what Splice gives in terms of accessible plug-ins for users, especially with the Isotope range for better for worse. I'm surprised you didn't mention your previous match EQ video for the tonal matching. Also, much celebration on the studio light off message a critical reminder.

Great video!
But maybe you could include Adobe speech enhancement (Adobe podcast beta), which is free. I tested it and it made an amazing job from an audio recorded from a cheap mic in a very noisy environment.

Mic A has lesser bass part of the vocal which makes it 1 mic. And Mic B has broader spectrum and nice clarity on the low end part, that is Neumann.

I would love to see you break down Pro Tools and audio production in general the same way you broke down Photoshop & made it understandable!
