Need advice for uninstalling programs, I forgot to uninstall a program the proper way via settings or control panel (It just slips my mind every now and then), and just deleted it manually to the recycle bin. Now, the program is uninstalled, but still appears in my list of apps/programs. Previous windows versions would just remove the entry from the apps list if the installation is no longer present, but it does not do that anymore (Which is lame), and just give me an error or says it failed. Is there a way to remove the entry without re-installing the program, just to uninstall it again the proper way?

Awesome video very helpful. One question. After I used the 'disk cleanup', I realize I deleted my downloads folder contents by mistake. How can I recover those files? Is there a free recovery tool u are aware of that u can recommend?. A couple I've tried (e.g. Mini Tool & another one ) offers a 'free' trial, but it is bogus. WIth their free trial, u can run a scan to pull up the items u want to recover. But to actually recover those items & installed back on your 'C' drive, u have to pay up first. :(

Just a correction, the command powercfg /hibernate off , don't disable only the hibernation but also disable fast startup For disable only the hibernation use this command - powercfg /h /type reduced Have 2 Hibernation Files Type, Full and Reduced. Full - Default Size (40% of physical memory) and the Supported power states (fast startup, hybrid sleep, hibernate) Reduced - Default Size (20% of physical memory) and the Supported power states (fast startup)

i see that the most memory is taken by your temp files (800+mb),sadely,microsoft hasnt got a button yet to move the win cache and temp to another drive, this would be a great improvement to reduce wear on a SSD drive, too many reads and most certainly writes age your SSD rapidly,i already have my firefox cache in a folder on the D drive that way it isnt written to the C drive (SSD),programs (apps) are installed on my C drive for app speed

My personal opinion is that don't clean system files win10 needs them it might cause bsod errors just put simple clean defaults as per... Defrag and restart device.... And also don't clean system restore points after major updates u never know when bsod arrives..u may hav to revert back to fix it... Bsod blue screen of death

Here I have done a video going over a very useful piece of software called Crystal Disk Info. It’s great for checking to see what might be wrong with your hard drive, also give you more detail about the software side of your hard drive.

Better back-up important files to another storage, like a external storage, cloud or something, and clena install the windows. Wasting time to clean windows, is like wasting time installing it. But anyway, this video is still helpful.

Another trick for the recycle bin something I do all the time is right click it go to properties and change the size to 100 mb this will save you tons of space especially if you do this for all the drives you have or just make i0
